CNC Operator 2nd Shift Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

• Two (2) years of experience
• Trade school certificate or 2-4 years of recent CNC experience required.

• Preferred:

• Plastics machining experience a plus.

• Skills:

• Skilled with HAAS machinery
• Ability to make/grind your own tools.

Job Description:

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, adjust, and operate CNC, conventional, and special-purpose machines to fabricate precision parts. Candidates must have the ability to produce high-quality components from blueprints and technical drawings with minimal supervision

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine machining requirements
• Set up and operate CNC machines and at least one additional machine shop work center
• Select materials and tools appropriate for each job
• Set machining parameters including speed, feed, coolant flow, and cutting depth/angle
• Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary adjustments
• Verify parts meet specifications
• Input data into ERP systems
• Make and grind tools as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Regular use of hands, fingers, arms, and hearing
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs (team lift or equipment used for heavier items)
• Visual requirements: close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Moderate noise level.

• Days and Hours:

  Full Time position; 3rd shift available; 40 hours per week. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.

• Pay:

  $38,460.00 to $47,630.00 per year. Sign on bonus after 90 days.
