The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring that production runs safely, smoothly and efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy of machined parts. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Fabricate components as needed and assist in other fabricating tasks when required. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling within the warehouse as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations to include fractions. Experience operating CNC machinery such as 3-axis flatbed machines is preferred. Experience working in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Competence with hand tools and assembly line operations. Use of computers and ability to navigate though various computer systems. Ability to lift large or heavy objects individually and in a team lift. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
