S_163967 Spherion is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Operator to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Bradenton, FL.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, set-up and operate CNC machines to perform several machining operations such as turning, threading, milling, and drilling to produce quality parts.
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Set machines to complete full cycles and fabricate large number of parts.
Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required, make necessary adjustments as needed, to keep producing quality parts.
Ensure parts produced meet specifications by using appropriate measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and thread gages for quality assurance.

Working hours:

6:30 PM – 3:00

PM Skills:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
Able to complete setups, make tool wear offsets, change tools and load material bars.
Must have problem-solving ability to solve quality issues and machines problems.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years
