Job Description
CNC Operator 2nd shift ESTP Bradenton, FL 34203 We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines, programming, and precision measurement. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications and standards. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure efficient manufacturing processes while adhering to safety protocols.
Schedule:
2nd shift 3:00PM to 11:30PM Monday-Friday Responsibilities Operate CNC machines, including those programmed with Mazatrol and Fanuc systems, to produce precision parts. Assemble components according to engineering specifications and technical drawings. Program CNC machines using appropriate software and tools to ensure optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and conducting necessary repairs. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste in the machining process. Collaborate with team members to improve production workflows and quality control measures. Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment. Experience Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in operating CNC machinery and understanding programming techniques. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and mechanical knowledge is essential. Experience with lean manufacturing practices is preferred. Forklift operation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
