Most of our parts have complicated geometries, are made of aluminum, and will be used above the Earth’s surface, in either our atmosphere or in outer space. We have extensive 5-axis milling & live tooling lathe capabilities along with state-of-the-art Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Using computer models of the customer parts, we expertly program both the cutting tool paths needed to machine these components and the CMM’s to automatically measure every dimension. We are seeking a team-oriented candidate with strong GD&T and blueprint readings skills to set up, operate, and perform daily maintenance of CNC machines for prototype & production parts. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards possible in a fast-paced work environment. Day shift position Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

Perform verification/validation of new set-up programs for new product or pre-production parts. Maintain close tolerance dimensions while producing parts at production rates. Complete offset adjustments to multi-axis equipment to ensure product quality. Set-up & prove out programs on Haas lathes Work with programmers to develop new & improved processes on a multitude of aerospace parts. Read and interpret blue prints and GD&T Communicate with co-workers. Follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience setting-up CNC machines Familiarity with GD&T principles for machining operations Pass a pre-employment drug screening Complete a pre-employment criminal background check
