We seek a skilled CNC and Machine Operator who will be responsible for producing precision parts and components accoridng to specifications. The role requires a stong understanding of programming, tooling, and quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of production. Primary Responsibilities Assessment of machining requirements for new jobs Supervision of all manual and CNC machining performed on site Creation of new CNC programs as needed Participation in hands-on machining of WHA parts Preservation of traceability through all machine shop procedures In-process dimensional inspection Safety of self and others at all times Secondary Responsibilities Ensures the entire work area and equipment stay clean Organizes storage of tooling – applying “visual factory” principles Continual improvement of machining (QMS) Prevention of part handling damage Pursues of continual improvement and risk reduction (QMS) Monitoring of new tooling and supplies needs Any other task assigned by Management Educational Requirements Associates Degree or equivalent Work Experience Minimum of 5 years work in a machine shop environment; Minimum of 2 years experience in managing others Required Skills In-depth understanding of GD&T Excellent CAD/CAM skills Ability to interpret, rework, and create 2D and 3D drawings In-depth understanding of machining methods, tools, and fixturing Proficiency with wire EDM Creation of new CNC programs for multiple machines Good computer skills with common PC software; ability to learn and implement software security measures as needed Familiarity with best practices for metrology of machined parts Prior hands-on experience with CMM Excellent diagnostic and problem solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must meet ITAR requirements Behavioral Dimensions Desire for continual improvement and personal advancement Good work ethic and a history of good job attendance Effective in both teamwork and working self-directed as needed Ability to lead by example and inspiration Compliance with all company policies Gives attention to small details – excellent observational skills Tendency to see problems as opportunities, not roadblocks Ability to effectively interact with customers when needed •
