Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs part processing per provided work instruction and/or verbal instruction. Interprets drawing requirements. Selects & utilizes appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes. Performs precise measurements & inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards. Manages tooling & fixturing as required. Reports faulty hardware, processes, & non-conformances to immediate supervisor. Maintains a clean & safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. May assist with developing new machining methods & tooling for complex parts. Actively engages in and initiates continuous improvement activities. Interprets geometric dimensions & tolerances. May perform machine adjustments & maintenance. Responsible for accurate entries into ERP system. Responsible for in-process inspections & may require finessing. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years CNC lathe & milling operation experience High school degree or equivalent Able to change/replace tools & inserts Able to read & interpret technical drawings & inspect parts during production Able to follow processes & documentations
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift heavy equipment & materials up to 50lbs Specific vision abilities include close & distance vision, depth perception, & ability to adjust focus Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands & arms Capable of standing for long periods & working in industrial settings (e.g., machine shops) Ability to withstand loud noise environment
