Duties/Responsibilities:
Proficient in the use of measuring equipment. Coach and lead mill operators on proper machine shop practices. Ability to build new tooling and fixtures, without supervision. Able to detect any issues in machines and make minor adjustments when necessary. Edit CNC machine manually at the controller. A strong understanding of Numerical Control (G-Codes). Must be willing to run production as well as doing setups. Possess working knowledge of cutting tools including speeds and feed. Ability to read blueprints. Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Requirements:
5 years of set up experience on vertical CNC mills with 4th axis rotation capability, preferably Haas mills. Mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail. AS 9100 awareness and adherence. Must be quality-minded, strong attention to detail and follow quality and safety standards. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
