We are searching for an experienced CNC Bandsaw operator for both day and nightshift! A CNC Bandsaw operator plays a crucial role in manufacturing precise metal components and products using computer-controlled machinery. They are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining these specialized machines to cut, and finish various steel materials according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpreting Blueprints and Technical Drawings:

Studying detailed engineering plans and technical documents to understand the dimensions and requirements of the steel components to be manufactured.

Machine Setup and Calibration:

Configuring CNC machines, including selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and settings based on the required operations.

Programming CNC Machines:

Entering the proper data for the machine to cut material per print.

Loading Materials:

Loading raw steel materials into the machine for processing.

Monitoring and Operating:

Overseeing the machine’s operation throughout the manufacturing process, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and quality output.

Quality Control:

Inspecting finished steel parts to ensure they meet specifications, using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during machine operation, whether related to programming errors, sawblade wear, or machine malfunctions.

Maintenance and Repair:

Keeping workspace neat and orderly

Safety Procedures:

Adhering strictly to safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials in the factory environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations. Expertise in using precision measuring tools. Tape measuring skills a must. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
