The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Assist in the assembly of components as needed within the manufacturing facility. Operate stamping presses and forklifts safely and efficiently when required. Skills Proficient in machining techniques and processes with hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility. Familiarity with CAD software for designing parts and components is preferred. Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately interpret technical drawings. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations essential for machining tasks. Experience operating stamping presses is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely, with proper certification preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
