CNC Operator and Fabricator Associated Imports Architectural Stone and Tile Atlanta, GA 30310 Company Profile

• Associated Imports has been a small family-owned business since 1982 that is a natural stone and porcelain tile supplier, fabricator, and installer that focuses on high-end commercial markets. Role
• Responsible for all phases of stone and porcelain slab fabrication processes from the initial field measure to CNC fabrication and edge finishing. Duties
• Field measures as needed to confirm site measurements.
• Programs and operates Italian-made Prussiani 5-Axis CNC to perform custom stone and porcelain fabrication, including straight and radius cuts, miters, bowl and faucet cutouts, etc.
• Finishes and shapes edges and cutouts by hand as needed including miters and laminations.
• Leads quality control during each phase of fabrication to achieve project requirements.
• Cooperates and assists with various tasks in the shop and the field as needed to aid installation teams in daily operations.
• Manages fabrication schedules to satisfy project timelines.
• Helps maintain fabrication shop and equipment. Qualifications
• Must have prior experience as a CNC operator in the marble and granite industry.
• Proficiency with edge finishing, including built-up laminations, miters, shaping, and refacing.
• Comfortable within a small business atmosphere and wearing multiple hats.
• Excellent attention to detail in all facets of job including measurements, CNC programming, and quality of fabricated product.
• Strong oral communication, math/analytical, and time management skills.
• Customer-service and project deadline oriented.
