CNC Operator (Building 1) Position Available In Walton, Georgia

• Join a leading manufacturer in the automotive and transportation sector, focusing on valve timing controls in cars. As a CNC Operator, you will operate and monitor a line of CNC lathes and mills, ensuring efficient production processes. Your role will involve performing quality checks on parts and handling daily preventative maintenance tasks.
• Responsibilities
• + Run and monitor a line of 3-5 CNC machines. + Make necessary offsets to ensure production quality. + Conduct quality checks using a plug gauge, micrometer, and calipers. + Perform daily preventative maintenance, including basic cleaning, changing coolant/oil, and greasing. + Handle minor tool changes such as changing inserts or bars in a lathe.
• Essential Skills
• + Minimum of 1 year of CNC operating experience. + Experience with quality tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Ability to perform offsets and adjustments. + Strong attention to detail. + Understanding of decimals. + Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.

• Work Environment
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment, though it may get warm near the machines. Fans are provided for comfort. Steel-toed shoes are required, and all other personal protective equipment, such as ear plugs and safety glasses, will be provided. Shifts include training on Monday-Thursday from 7 am to 5:30 pm for 4-6 weeks, with various shift options available.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Georgia.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
