• $20 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Heavy lifting 5 years CNC laser cutting English Mid-level CNC milling machine Math Manufacturing Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining, controlling, and operating machine and equipment used for the manufacturing and production of products Operates sophisticated machinery by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure a successful operation of the machine during the production process.

Completes basic maintenance tasks listed on the daily/weekly maintenance checklist. Inspect the machine while in operation to verify the machine is running properly, in order to identify problems that may cause injury to personnel, damage to machinery, or reductions in the quality of the finished product. Set machines operation information such as speed, size and shape into machine before it begins running. Conduct calibration tests prior to beginning production and at the end of the current shift Loads materials needed for production into the machine. Inspect all finished products, checking for maintenance in production quality and standards. Annotate the correct Heat Number for the corresponding material onto the Material Cut List. Strictly adhere to client-job specification and ensure good quality work Monitors all activities going on at the work site, records them for accuracy, clarification, and verification, and reports to management. Report to supervisor regularly, keeping them updated on production activities and progress Alert any problems or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel. Adhere to all safety requirements, including maintaining a clean work area free of hazards.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities :

Read and write English and perform math calculations including fractions and decimals Ability to read and understand technical manuals. Participates in other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:

Must be 21+ years of age 5+ Years of experience in machine operation

Physical Demands:

Varying standing and sitting for extended periods of time throughout day Heavy lifting may be required to position material on rollers Occasional lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching Exposure to varying environments including loud, hot and smoke-filled areas
