The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a factory setting. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet specifications and are fabricated according to established guidelines. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and presses to fabricate parts according to specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to ensure accuracy in production. Perform CAM programming for CNC machines to optimize production processes. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with design specifications. Package finished parts for shipment or storage, ensuring proper handling and labeling. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise. Skills Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers. Experience operating milling machines and presses within a factory environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery as needed. Familiarity with CAM programming software for CNC operations. Ability to fabricate parts accurately while adhering to safety standards. Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC control systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
