The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and the use of various precision measuring instruments. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture parts according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in production. Program CNC machines using Fanuc or similar systems for optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product designs. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in the training of junior machinists as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in programming CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc controls. Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
