The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Utilize CAM programming software to set up and optimize machine operations. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Ensure adherence to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for machining processes. Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance. Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred. Proficiency in CAM programming and operating milling machines is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not required. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments in machining processes. Understanding of logic controllers and their application in CNC operations is beneficial.
