Job Overview:
Our Client is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. We’re looking for someone with experience operating CNC machines—more than just a button pusher but not required to program the machines. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills with on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings to set up and operate CNC machines. Use precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform daily safety checks and report any concerns. Follow preventative maintenance procedures. Keep the work area clean and organized. Complete first-piece approvals before beginning production runs. Maintain 100% on-time delivery by meeting production goals. Handle repetitive work (up to 100 pieces per hour) and lift up to 70 lbs. Support lean manufacturing initiatives like 5S and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s in Machine Shop preferred. 1+ years of CNC operation and setup experience. Strong understanding of machinist math and measuring tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Work Environment & Safety:
Safety shoes required (not provided). Safety glasses & gloves provided. Must wear long pants and sleeved shirts (no shorts, tank tops, or cut-off sleeves). Why Join Us?
