afternoon shift CNC Machinists and Machine Operators qualified to set up and safely operate automated lathes, mills, grinders, EDM wire and/or similar other machine tools as needed. Machinists must understand and interpret G and M codes; know how to touch off and adjust tools using geometry, make offsets; read, write, and perform technical shop math; convert metric to English, be able to read and use prints; and have their own tools. Machine Operators must have 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Metal cutting experience preferred. Experience with grinders, wire EDM or other machine tool types a plus. Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and indicators. Machinists and Machine Operators at Lexington Technologies work with minimal supervision, provide their own tools, and verify the quality of the parts they produce. Successful candidates will demonstrate a stable work history. Lexington Technologies is leading supplier of custom tooling and subcontracting machining services to the forging industry. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Daido Steel yet offer a “small company” atmosphere everyone can appreciate. The part time position ideal for a skilled machinist looking for some extra income. 20 to 25 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling. Shift hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Training on dayshift required.
