Winston-Salem, NC Schedule:

2nd shift Option 1: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM•2:30 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts) Option 2: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM•12:30 AM (5 x 8-hour shifts) We are seeking an experienced and driven CNC Machinist/Operator. This individual will be responsible for independently setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machinery, with a deep understanding of quality assurance, program troubleshooting, and precision machining. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that plays a critical part in delivering consistent and accurate production results. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines including CNC lathes, mills, turning centers, fiber lasers, press brakes , and conventional machines Work independently to troubleshoot issues, perform program edits, and adjust parameters for optimal part output Interpret and apply instructions from blueprints, technical drawings , and job orders Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges , and other precision measuring tools Maintain accurate documentation and data entry for part tracking and inventory control when loading parts onto the machines. Ensure parts meet quality standards by monitoring tolerances and conducting visual and dimensional inspections Operate equipment such as HAAS and Doosan CNC machines ; strong knowledge of HAAS controls and Doosan Fanuc controls is preferred. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures in a manufacturing environment Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area Required Skills & Qualifications 1-3+ years of CNC Machining/Operating experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to independently set up, program-edit , and run CNC machines Familiarity with HAAS and Doosan machine tools and respective control systems Strong blueprint reading and part interpretation skills Proficient in use of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques Good basic computer/data entry skills Excellent work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality parts Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate various machinery safely Benefits Offered Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match PTO beginning day 1 (accrual-based) Profit sharing program Opportunities for growth and advancement in a growing second-shift team
