$20.00 – $24.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Summary:

Tradespeople is searching for multiple candidates for a CNC Machinist / Programing position in Burlington, NC.

Essential Functions/Duties:

Including but not limited to: Set up, Adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts Read and interoperate Blueprints Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to meet tolerance guidlines Set the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job Mark material for cutting or shaping, taking its measurements Prepare appropriate machines (programming, set up and operation) and position or load material for a job Inspect working machines to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues Review output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects Manage records of approved and defective units or final products Organize routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings. Read and use manual micrometers and calipers in inch measurements Maintain a safe and clean workstation.

Basic Requirements & Qualifications:

Including but not limited to: Minimum of 8-10 years of expierence Ability to program CNC mills and lathes utilizing CAM software Ability to set up and perform complex machining on CNC lathes and mills Ability to mentor and aid CNC operators with setups Ability to multitask and remain flexible. Quality and organization are of the utmost importance. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with times of high stress and volume. Must work well in a team environment and maintain good communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Experience working in a CNC Machine shop production environment.
