CNC Machine Operator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Fletcher, NC 28732 Microtech Knives is seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to join our Lathe Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine operation, be proficient in using precision measuring tools, and demonstrate a steady work history. 1st shift: Tuesday through Friday 6:30am

• Must be available to train on current 1st shift schedule which is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm for the next 30-60 days until company shifts to new schedules/shifts outlined above.

Must have 3-5 years experience working as a CNC Machine Operator on Mills and/or Lathes. Must be able to change out tool, make adjustments to machine, and check parts using calipers and micrometers. Must have good attention to detail and be able to sit and stand as needed.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production machinery in accordance with safety standards and procedures.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure the accuracy of machined parts.
• Monitor the machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Inspect and test completed parts for quality assurance.
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator, preferably in the knife or sporting goods industry.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Previous experience in CNC machining.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
