- Responsibilities for a CNC Machine Operator include but are not limited to:
- + Setup and operate CNC machines (including CNC Vertical Mill, CNC Lathe, Waterjet, Press Brake) according to job specifications and blueprints + Write, read, and edit CNC programming to ensure precision in machining tasks + Interpret and assemble/fabricate parts per BOM and CAD drawings using correct tools and specifications + Maintain a clean and safe work environment with a focus on quality and efficiency •Candidates for CNC Machine Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered: •+ High school diploma or GED required; technical college experience or equivalent preferred + 3+ years of experience operating CNC machinery (HAAS, ACCURPRESS, OMAX, etc.
) + Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and product specifications + Skilled in the use of gauges, measuring instruments, and performing simple arithmetic + Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted and stand for extended periods
