Primary Purpose:

As a CNC Operator, you will operateputer numerical control machines to cut, shape, or form metal workpieces to specifications. You will perform all duties of CNC Machine Operators, ensuring precision and quality in every piece.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review specifications to determine machining sequence, check dimensions of parts, blues, and operate the machine.
Work according to the production schedule.
Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
Analyze any production difficulties and report them to the CNC Specialist or Production Supervisor.
Measure for conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, functional gauges, and blues.
Maintain required paperwork (e.g., production logs, scrap tickets).
Notify CNC Specialist 2, CNC Specialist 3, or Supervisor of jobpletion or any discrepancies.

Physical Demands:

Regularly lift up to 35 pounds
Perform repetitive tasks
Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together accurately
Understand MSDS and handle hazardous materials

Education and Training Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret tape measure or measuring devices
Machine Operator experience preferred

Pay Details:

$18.00 per hour
