CNC Operator 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Milford, NH 03055 Position summary: This position is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards. Experience with Citizens Swiss CNC machines is a plus.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Load raw materials and unloads completed parts Operate multiple machines simultaneously Perform inspection of own parts and co-worker’s work Follow instructions when selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures Use measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments Adjust tooling & work offsets Perform minor editing of current program Run select machines in department Adjust assure dimensions, tolerances and quality of parts meet specifications Utilize

QMS, MAX & SPC

data bases as needed Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including top-off lubricants Clean equipment and work area, including chip removal Follow established procedures as well as quality and safety standards Maintain safe work environment Work under supervision Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Special knowledge, skills and abilities: Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments Basic understanding of G&M programming codes Good understanding of machining practices Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills Motivated and shows willingness to learn Team player who works in cooperation with others Able to demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude Education HS Degree or GED 1+ years machining experience preferred or a recent certificate in precision machining or related field

Job Types:

Full-time, Contract Pay:

$23.37 – $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
