CNC Setup Operator S&S Professional Services LP Clifton, NJ Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of programming, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency and quality standards. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce high-quality components. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in part production. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred. Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc systems, is highly desirable. Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Familiarity with operating milling machines and other CNC equipment. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to work effectively in a factory setting, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to quality.
