Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a CNC/Mill Operator 2nd Shift to join their team. As a CNC/Mill Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting precision machining operations. Machine Setup and Operation:

Loading and unloading materials, setting up tools and fixtures, and calibrating machines for optimal performance.

Programming and Input:

Translating blueprints into machine instructions (G-code) and entering them into the CNC system.

Quality Control:

Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation.

Safety Compliance:

Following safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. What’s Needed? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances. Understanding CNC programming languages (like G-code) and the ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot programs. Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling machines, including tool changes, speed and feed adjustments, and workholding techniques. Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and the ability to accurately measure machined parts.
