Machine Optimization:

Minimize setup time, maintain offsets, and ensure high machine utilization.

Blueprint Reading:

Accurately read and follow blueprints and route instructions.

GD&T Application:

Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles.

Program Troubleshooting:

Identify and correct program issues as needed.

In-Process Inspection:

Follow inspection procedures and report non-conformance issues.

Team Communication:

Coordinate with production and quality teams to maintain standards.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE throughout your shift.

Documentation:

Record issues, inspection results, and shift transitions clearly.

Maintenance:

Perform daily preventive maintenance checks and log findings. More responsibilities may be assigned upon hire.

Job Requirements:

Proficient with calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools Solid math skills and blueprint interpretation Familiarity with GD&T, lathe/mill tooling, and part-holding fixtures Experience with Okuma, Mazak, or Mori CNC lathe machines is preferred Accurate documentation of machining processes Ability to complete logs and reports in English Willingness to work collaboratively with the production team Must be able to lift, push, pull, and handle heavy components Comfortable standing for entire shifts in a non-climate-controlled environment Dependable and consistent work ethic Open to training, learning new skills, and following all company policies and schedules Additional information: Benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance.
