CNC Laser/Punch Operator (2nd Shift) Precision Cut Industries Hanover, PA 17331 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Laser/Punch Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating a sheet metal laser/punch machine and ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety. The Laser/Punch Operator will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining efficiency and quality. Responsibilities Operate and maintain a sheet metal laser/punch machine to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Set up machines for various production runs, including adjusting settings for different materials and thicknesses Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in production. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting minor issues and reporting major problems. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Assist in programming CNC machines for automated processes when necessary. • Skills Experience with sheet metal laser/punch cutting machines and operations. Experience with CNC programming, machines, and operations is required. Ability to understand basic math skills. Familiarity with precision measuring tools including micrometers and calipers. Knowledge of plasma cutting processes is a plus. Ability to read blueprints/drawings is required. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
