CNC Vertical Mill Operator (2nd Shift) Precision Cut Industries Hanover, PA 17331 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Vertical Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in programming. Duties Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines, ensuring they run efficiently and produce high-quality parts. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. Utilize programming software to create machining programs for CNC mills. Perform regular maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance. Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished products. Fabricate parts from various materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment. Strong skills in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation. Familiarity with programming software; experience with SolidWorks is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers accurately. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
