DOE Responsibilities:
Read and follow written procedures, operation sheets, and customer drawings Verify tooling and job setups for processes you’re qualified to run Inspect each completed part for quality, including peen coverage and surface finish. To perform this instruction must be able to understand TMF and/or customer operation sheet/drawings. Set up CNC shot peening machines, checking for tooling adequacy and process qualifications Carefully apply precision masking/taping to protect specific areas during the peening process Unload completed parts and inspect peen coverage and part quality Use approved materials to clean residue and media from parts after vibratory milling Measure surface finish using a surface analyzer to meet POP requirements Document any part defects or non-conformances Keep machines, worktables, and floors clean and free of debris Follow the principles of our quality system, especially related to documenting non-conforming materials Understand and apply principles of National Peening’s quality system, especially related to non-conforming materials Work flexible hours and overtime as needed Maintain a positive attitude and team-focused mindset Maintain excellent attendance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentTechnical certification in CNC machining (required) Proven experience in CNC operation; shot peening or surface treatment experience is a plus Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs, and customer operation sheets Knowledge of CNC machine setup procedures and programming Familiarity with ISO-9001 and/or Nadcap quality systems (preferred) Ability to read and comprehend technical and operational documents Solid math skills: able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure If you are interested, please send your resume to carmen@canadianexecutivesearch.com CESGLOW1
