As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up and operate conventional CNC machines to produce complex metallic parts to precise customer specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity, meaning our client will employ you directly from day one.

What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED (or passing a basic skills assessment)
6 months of related CNC machine operation
6 months of experience in a fast-paced industrial lean environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with CNC machinery
Ability to read blueprints, gear charts, and use precision measuring instruments
Basic computer knowledge and strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and team collaboration
What You’ll Do as a
CNC Machine Operator:
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Adhere to all department-specific quality standards, including proper procedures for handling spills
Meet daily production goals as outlined by department leadership
Set up and operate various CNC machines, including two to six-axis equipment
Configure and adjust fixtures, cutting tools, and machine tooling offsets as required
Follow standardized work instructions, process sheets, and departmental guidelines
Accurately measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces as reference points for machining
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from tolerances and make necessary control adjustments
Use precision measuring instruments such as CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part quality
Make real-time adjustments to ensure product quality remains within Statistical Process Control (SPC) limits
Interpret gear charts and collaborate with technical team members to resolve machining issues
Read and follow internal policies, procedures, blueprints, manuals, sketches, and specifications to determine job requirements
Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and adding coolant to reservoirs
Inspect finished parts to verify they meet specifications using appropriate inspection tools
Support other machining departments and assist across facility areas to meet production needs
Load and unload CNC machinery or assembly stations as required
Pack finished products into dunnage for shipment or storage
Manually move materials on or off pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves
