Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Star Swiss Lathe Operator or Machinist with a minimum of 3 years in CNC production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Star Swiss CNC lathes, ensuring a smooth and efficient manufacturing process. This role requires expertise in G-code programming, attention to quality standards, and a proactive approach to production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain CNC machinery in the production area to ensure optimal functionality.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform routine maintenance on tooling.
Check production output against specifications to maintain high quality.
Report on machine performance, production output, and any required tooling changes.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and suggest improvements.
Follow all company standards and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC Star Swiss Lathe operation.
Proficiency in G-code programming and ability to read blueprints.
Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving mindset.
High school diploma required; technical training in CNC machining is a plus.
