High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to determine machine settings. Load raw materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations. Perform quality control checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure accuracy. Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and meet production goals. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with technicians or engineers for complex problems. Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist. Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code, M-code) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Proficiency in using measuring tools and precision instruments. strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working up to 11 hrs of overtime per week
