TIG Welder and CNC Operator Wright Tool Inc 120 Parkview Circle, Piney Flats, TN 37686 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating TIG welding equipment on aluminum and also have a background or interest in CNC machinery, particularly Haas and Kia CNC Machines. This role involves fabricating high-quality, high-tolerance components and products while adhering to strict quality standards and lean manufacturing principles. Welder will be expected to do other fabrication activities and run CNC equipment as needed. Duties TIG Welding small to medium sized aluminum components MIG Welding small to large steel components Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce precision parts. Program CNC machines using appropriate software and tools to ensure accurate fabrication. Set up and adjust machine tools for optimal performance and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational readiness. Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect finished products for quality assurance. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for continuous improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the welding or machining process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a TIG Welder or similar role in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in operating welding equipment. Familiarity with running CNC machines is preferred. Ability to fabricate components according to specifications and blueprints. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments for quality checks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
