This role is a key component to our process and we are seeking committed, positive employees who pay attention to detail. Pay will be based upon experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Uses Metacam to nest parts to be cut on the laser and turrets
• Opens the DXF file of the flat part, verifies the revision of the part
• Selects the tooling required to cut or punch the part
• Nest all parts to be cut effectively, trying to fill a full sheet when possible
• Communicates with Engineering to correct drawing issues
• Ensures quality policies and procedures are followed
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWorks or other similar software
• Minimum of two years experience
• Prior experience with sheet metal tooling Matthews Industries is an
