CNC Programmer Level 1 NuWave Composites 3030 Cockroach Bay Road, Ruskin, FL 33570 CNC Programmer Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to machine various composite materials to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, technical drawings, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Develop and write CNC programs using Mastercam Software Set up and operate CNC machines, 3 Axis Routers Lagunas Interpret technical drawings, 3D models and schematics to create accurate machining processes. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes through Lean manufacturing principles. Perform quality checks using measuring and inspection tools. Must know how to use a Tape measure Troubleshoot programming issues and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency. Skills Proficient in CNC programming knowledge (Willing to train the right candidate). Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex geometries. Familiarity with Rhino 3D and Mastercam for creating and modifying part designs. Understanding of machining techniques, including milling, turning, and drilling. Ability to read and analyze schematics effectively. Experience with Composite materials and machining methods Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
