The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming
HAAS CNC
machines and a strong ability to write programs for a wide range of product types across multiple industries. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC machining processes, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with engineers, machinists, and production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Create programs for a diverse range of components and materials, serving multiple industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and consumer goods. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure precision in machining operations. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to review design concepts and ensure manufacturability. Conduct program simulations and troubleshoot errors before and during production. Support setup and operation of CNC machines as needed to validate new programs. Maintain organized documentation for all CNC programs and revision histories. Continuously improve machining processes for efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience programming
HAAS CNC
machines using G-code. Proficient in CAD/CAM software (preferred Fusion 360) Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and fixture design. Experience programming for a wide variety of part geometries and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering documentation. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining/manufacturing technology preferred. About Us Yeager Manufacturing is a rapidly growing
