is currently looking for an experienced CNC lathe setup/operator. The position would involve setting up lathes, operating, and troubleshooting lathes with multi-axis. We are a aerospace parts manufacturer of critical safety items and complex parts and assemblies, supplying to the US Government and foreign governments around the world. Parts are critical, have tight tolerances, are challenging and require attention to detail.
- Must have strong knowledge and ability on multi-axis lathes with live tooling.
- Fanuc Controls
- Doosan and Haas Machines
- 2 and 3 axis lathes with live tooling

Materials:
Aluminum, titanium, alloy steels, stainless steels (PH grade), hardened steel (up to 55RC)
- Threaded parts, critical safety “J” threads.
- Critical Safety parts, tight tolerances
- GD&T knowledge and excellent blueprint reading skills
- Ability to create fixtures, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Self motivation and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented and organized
Requirements:
- Familiarity with speeds and feeds for aluminum, titanium, alloy steels, stainless steels
- Critical parts, tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret complicated blueprints, and research specifications based on OEM requirements
- Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years in the industry.
