Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to fabricate precision parts according to specifications
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
• Program machines using CAM software and adjust settings as necessary
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy of finished products
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet required specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming software, such as SolidWorks or similar programs
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred but not required

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
