LaGrange, GA 30240 Position Summary Sangwoo Precision USA Inc. is hiring a CNC Tool Designer & Programmer with specialized experience in ANCA ToolRoom, CIM3D simulation software , and precision CNC grinding . This full-time role involves designing, programming, and validating a wide range of cutting tools such as drills, end mills, and taps. The successful candidate will work directly with
ANCA FX5, FX7, MX7 CNC
grinding machines , develop grinding strategies, create CNC programs, and support production and quality teams to optimize tool performance. Key Responsibilities Tool Design & Simulation Design drills, end mills, and taps using ANCA ToolRoom Conduct 2D/3D simulation -based validation and refinement of cutting tool forms Use CIM3D to simulate grinding paths and proactively identify issues such as shape deviations or potential collisions Interpret engineering drawings and convert them into custom tool designs using solid carbide, HSS, and other materials Generate accurate and efficient CNC grinding programs based on manufacturing and customer requirements CNC Integration & Process Optimization Apply tool design data in
ANCA CNC
grinders (e.g., FX5, FX7) Create and maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, and wheel configurations Optimize grinding parameters to ensure stability and consistency in repeat production Quality Control & CAD Interpretation Inspect finished tools using KEYENCE, Zoller , or similar precision inspection equipment Validate cutting profiles and ensure alignment with dimensional specifications Read and interpret 2D/3D CAD models and apply appropriate grinding strategies Team Leadership & Training Provide hands-on training for junior engineers and operators on toolroom software and grinding systems Collaborate with production, quality, and customer-facing teams to ensure manufacturability and tooling alignment Create documentation, visual aids, and training guides for tooling workflows Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the tooling and grinding team Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in CNC tooling, grinding , or precision machining Proficient with ANCA ToolRoom and CIM3D software Experience developing and optimizing CNC tool grinding programs Ability to read and create CAD/CAM-based designs Strong communication skills and hands-on tooling expertise Preferred Experience operating
ANCA FX5, FX7
, or MX7 machines CAD/CAM-integrated special tool design experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) Bilingual ability (English/Korean) is a plus but not a requirement.
