CNC Programmer Position Available In East Feliciana, Louisiana

CNC Programmer GLO Resources LLC 261 Hwy. 19, Slaughter, LA 70777 Glo Resources is currently hiring experienced CNC Machinists/Programmers towork in Slaughter, LA. The pay rate is $34 per hour depending on experience. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 5/10s. Willing to work weekends when needed depending on project deadlines. Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining centers, lathes, and horizontal boring mills, ensuring that each job meets the required quality and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fanuc G-code programming, CNC machine setup, and a strong attention to detail. Experience running manual lathes is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Set up CNC machining centers, lathes, and horizontal boring mills quickly and accurately to meet production requirements. Program CNC machines using Fanuc G-code and optimize machine performance for efficient production. Independently operate CNC machines, following production programming and guidelines, to produce parts to specifications. Monitor quality throughout the machining process, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to required tolerances. Maintain proper traceability in all jobs and document any adjustments or changes made during production. Ensure all work meets quality and quantity standards consistently, adjusting as needed to maintain production flow. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from unnecessary clutter. Perform regular maintenance on CNC equipment, ensuring machines are in optimal working condition. Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with quality control policies. Follow all company policies regarding machine operation, safety, and quality of work. Perform other duties when assigned by upper management.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and boring mills. Proficiency in programming CNC machines using Fanuc G-code. Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to perform measurements and calculations for precision work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Experience using measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D. and I.D. micrometers, and bore gauges. Ability to independently set up and run jobs on CNC machines. Capable of setting up multiple jobs on multiple machines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high production standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machines or production issues when they arise. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and cleanliness in the work environment. Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
