We are seeking a highly skilled andexperienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computernumerical control (CNC) programming, operating, and training, witha thorough understanding of manual machines, CNC machines, tooling,vertical mills, lathes, microscopes, and hand tools. This is apermanent position that offers a unique opportunity to leverageyour technical skills in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programsfor the manufacturing processes. 2. Operate and oversee theoperation of CNC machines, manual machines, lathes, and verticalmills. 3. Provide training and guidance to less experienced staffon CNC operation and programming. 4. Participate in the selectionand maintenance of equipment, including CNC machines, tooling,microscopes, and hand tools. 5. Collaborate with the engineeringteam to optimize manufacturing processes and improve productquality. 6. Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issuespromptly to minimize downtime. 7. Maintain accurate and up-to-datedocumentation of programming and machine operations. 8. Adhere toall safety and quality standards in all aspects of work. 9.Continually seek ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness ofmanufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, or related field, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. 2. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in CNCprogramming, operation, and training. 3. Proficiency in usingvarious manual machines, CNC machines, tooling, vertical mills,lathes, microscopes, and hand tools. 4. Extensive knowledge ofmachining processes, tooling, and production equipment. 5.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshootcomplex machinery issues. 6. Strong communication and interpersonalskills to effectively train and guide team members. 7. Ability toread and interpret technical drawings and specifications. 8.Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and qualitystandards. 9. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy andquality. 10. Ability to work independently and collaborativelywithin a team environment. 11. Must be willing to continuallyupdate knowledge and skills in the field of CNC programming andoperation. 12. CAD/CAM software experience is a plus. Interested inhearing more?
