Job Description

CNC Programmer 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars 107 Valley Road, Southampton, MA 01073 Responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for aerospace precision parts, supporting machining process improvements, and ensuring efficient production workflows while maintaining the highest quality standards for close tolerance components. New Product Introduction Develop manufacturing processes for new products aligned with established best practices Create fixturing methodologies and programming approaches for new aerospace components Support technical review process to ensure programming lead times meet production start dates Validate that programming and production duration will meet quoted hours and delivery commitments Ensure new product processes integrate seamlessly with existing manufacturing capabilities Process Improvement & Optimization Develop machining process improvements using multiple fixtures to enable lights-out machining Reduce total touch time through program optimization and efficient toolpath strategies Identify opportunities to standardize tooling across jobs to minimize machine setup time Collaborate with programming team to develop standardized tool packages and best practices Daily Production Support Support day-to-day shop operations including material reposting to create efficient workflow Provide regular updates to management on program progress to prevent production delays Collaborate with production team to ensure programs meet customer requirements Make real-time program adjustments to reduce machine downtime and maintain schedules Technical Collaboration Work with operations team to identify tooling standardization opportunities Review specialized tooling requirements with management when standard tools are insufficient Collaborate with programming peer group to align on best practices for parts, features, and manufacturing approaches Support continuous improvement initiatives across the programming department Compliance & Documentation Maintain compliance with

ISO9001/AS9100

quality standards Complete all required training and certification programs Perform additional duties as assigned by management Education and experience

CNC Programming Experience:

 Proven experience programming CNC machines for precision manufacturing

Multi-Axis Programming:

 Experience programming 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines and horizontal machining centers

Software Proficiency:

 Experience with Mastercam and SolidWorks preferred

Aerospace Knowledge:

 Understanding of close tolerance machining requirements and aerospace quality standards Must be a U.S. Citizen. quality management systems Familiarity with advanced machining strategies and high-speed machining techniques Experience with CAD/CAM integration and model-based programming Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Previous experience with lights-out manufacturing and automation concept Must be a U.S. Citizen Exact compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

$50,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
