CNC Programmer LSE Staffing Billerica, MA 01821 Our client is looking to bring on a CNC Programmer. This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift. Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in CAM programming. Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe machines using CAM software. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create precise machining instructions. Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accurate part specifications. Conduct setup and calibration of CNC machines, including Fanuc systems. Perform quality checks using micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Collaborate with the production team to implement lean manufacturing practices for continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in CNC programming, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in one of the following CAD software’s Mastercam, Gibbscam, Surfcam. Experience working with large parts. Experience working in the aerospace or industrial machining industry. Strong understanding of mechanical concepts and machining processes. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
