Our client is an established and growing machine shop in the Winston-Salem area. They are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer and Operator to join their team. We’re specifically looking for military veterans who bring a high level of technical skill, discipline, and attention to detail developed through hands-on service. Position Overview As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for programming and operating CNC machinery to produce high-precision tools and components. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in a structured environment, and is eager to share their knowledge. Key Responsibilities Program CNC machines with accurate toolpaths, feed, and speed settings
Use micrometers, indicators, and comparators to meet exact tolerances
Troubleshoot tooling performance issues and make critical adjustments
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Mentor junior machinists and contribute to a high-performance team Qualifications 8+ years of CNC machining and programming experience
Skilled in Fusion 360 or other CAD/CAM software
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Mold making experience is a plus
Problem-solver with strong attention to detail
