JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in CNC Programming utilizing Mastercam or GibbsCAM. This role will interact extensively with machinists to create and update programs while maintaining the necessary tooling. Flexibility will be vital as opportunities arise to set up tools, create fixtures and operate machines as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Use Mastercam or GibbsCAM to develop CNC programs for parts across various industries, continuously improving upon existing processes and updating programs accordingly Process simple to complex machined parts using supplied solid models or 2D drawings. The process will include all aspects of machining including programming, fixture design, tool selections, set-up instructions (verbal and written), proper machining strategies, and inspection. Instruct, guide and train CNC machinists as required Responsible for the design and development of work holding, custom tooling, and gauging to meet customer inspection specifications Support the production floor by troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions to keep machines running conforming parts Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities in machining processes through cutting tool selection with external vendors Manage tooling being returned from completed jobs (evaluate condition, put away in cabinets, and maintain tooling inventory) Set up and operate CNC and manual mills/lathes as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to set up and operate both CNC and manual mill/lathe Must have extensive knowledge of CNC mill/lathe equipment Must have horizontal mill programming experience A minimum of five years of relevant CNC operation experience Experience programming live tooling with twin spindle / twin turret lathes is a plus Proficiency with Haas, Fanuc, and Okuma controllers Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen

1st Shift Position Typical Monday to Friday Must be willing to work overtime when needed
