We are seeking detail oriented CNC Programmer/Operators with talented hand and critical thinking skills, who have a passion for working at a high level of quality. Edgewood Made is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator who has an interest in growing within their role. Candidates should have a background in making and an inquisitive nature which promotes learning through doing. Minimum Requirements Basic understanding of operating and programming a CNC Proficient understanding of wood properties and solid wood / plywood construction Ability to work independently within a group to achieve a goal Ability to understand and uphold our high standards of quality Not necessary but helpful experience (willing to train) CNC operation CAM CAD Desired Characteristics Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work on multiple projects at once Problem identification and problem solving ability Drive to exceed expectations Ability to work in a fast-paced solutions based environment Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for fabrication
Responsibilities:
Operate both 3 and 5axis CNC machines from programs created by you or others Program both 3 and5 axis CNC machines using Alphacam / Cabinet Vision Assist in Maintenance of both 3 and 5 axis CNC machines Our work is custom in nature and highly evolving. As part of a team, you will work on a diverse set of challenging projects. Applicants should have experience and be able to thrive both in a collaborative setting and on solo tasks.
