CNC Programmer/Operator – Mill (Job Shop) Kipe Recruiting Oil City, PA 16301

Pay:

$30-$38 per hour

8+ years CNC Mill programming/operation required

Schedule:

M-F 8am-4:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm (flexible) We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Operator with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in a job shop environment. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a variety of CNC machines Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and waterjet equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents Generate and optimize toolpaths using Mastercam 2023 and other CAD/CAM software Perform setups, tool changes, and in-process inspections to ensure part accuracy Work efficiently with small batch and one-off production typical of a job shop Perform part verification using CMMs, comparators, and a full range of precision measuring equipment Collaborate with team members to optimize processes, reduce cycle times, and troubleshoot issues Maintain equipment and work area to company standards for safety and quality

Faro Prime Portable CMM, Micro Vue Comparator, Zeiss Toolmaker’s Microscope Starrett Gage Blocks, Mitutoyo Height Masters, Wilson Rockwell Tester Software & Tools Mastercam 2023 Intellicam Alibre Design v12.1 MillWrite v6 Solidworks Pro 2019 Trello (Work-In-Progress tracking) Required Qualifications 8+ years experience programming & operating CNC mills in a job shop environment Expert proficiency with Mastercam and strong CAD/CAM skills Deep understanding of G-code, tool selection, speeds & feeds, and workholding Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills Experience with a wide variety of machines (see above) Advanced knowledge of setup, operation, and part verification/inspection Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic shop Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with waterjet operation (OMAX preferred) Solidworks and/or Alibre proficiency Familiarity with Trello or other job tracking software Competitive pay : $30-$38/hr, based on experience and skills Exposure to a wide range of machines, parts, and processes Modern, climate-controlled inspection room & quality tools Opportunities for advancement and skills growth Supportive team environment
