JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Programming & Operation:
Develop, edit, and implement CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam); operate CNC Swiss-style machines to produce parts per detailed specifications.
Setup & Maintenance:
Configure machines with appropriate fixtures and tools; perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect finished components using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications; maintain detailed quality control records.
Process Optimization:
Monitor and refine machine settings to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve part quality.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and train team members on safe machine operation and protocols.
Documentation:
Record machine settings, production metrics, and operational adjustments accurately.
Team Leadership:
Mentor junior staff, oversee workflow, and provide training as needed to support team success.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 10 years in CNC Swiss-stye machining, with extensive expertise in programming, setup, and operation across materials like metals, plastics, or composites.
- Proficiency with CNC software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens, Fanuc) and G-code programming.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics.
