CNC Full Job Description SUMMARY:
A company in North Charleston that fabricates and manufactures ultra high pressure waterjet machines that strip the paint from large ships and steel structures is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer who has experience programming Okuma machines.
DUTIES:
Operate manual mills, lathes and CNC machines for the manufacturing process (Fanuc & Siemens controls) programming experience is a plus Monitor machine operations to ensure finished products and components meet quality measures Operate all machinery, tools and equipment safely Perform preventative maintenance on machinery Report problems to trainer Follow blueprints and work instructions Maintain proper housekeeping
REQUIRED SKILLS
A minimum of 2 years CNC Machining experience running lathes and mills Capable of performing own offset adjustments
- Skilled in the use of measuring tools
- Basic math skills
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Mechanical aptitude
